Fourth of July firework shows
While the Fourth of July falls on Friday this year, the Independence Day festivities are happening all week and weekend.
1. Friday, July 4th - Fireworks at Gulf State Park Pier with show starting at 9 p.m.
The City of Gulf Shores will present its Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 4th at the Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier.
The fireworks display will be launched from the pier at 9 p.m.
2. Friday, July 4th - Perdido Beach Resort - Independence Day Celebration with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Perdido Beach Resort will host its annual Fireworks Celebration and Barbeque on Friday, July 4th, on the hotel beach decks in Orange Beach.
3. Friday, July 4th - Turquoise Place - Annual J4 Celebration with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Turquoise Place will host its annual J4 Celebration for its private guests on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 30th-July 4th with beachfront fireworks at 9 p.m. on Friday.
4.Friday, July 4th - Flora-Bama - fireworks at 9 p.m. (Freedom Run and other activities on Saturday, July 5th)
The Flora-Bama Fourth of July festivities will begin on Friday, July 4th with a fireworks display from the beach at 9 p.m.
The holiday celebration continues on Saturday, July 5th with activities and the 5th Annual Freedom Run at 8 a.m., which includes a 4-mile run/walk and 1-mile fun run sponsored by Exit Realty. Registration is $40 for the 4-mile run/walk and $30 for the fun run (plus fees). A portion of the registration fees will go to AHERO, which helps veterans.
5. Saturday, July 5th - OWA in Foley with fireworks at 8:45 p.m.
OWA in Foley will have its Fourth of July celebrations going on from Friday, July 4th to Sunday, July 6th with fireworks scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Saturday, July 5th.
6. It's not a holiday on the beach without live music! Alabama natives The Red Clay Strays will be performing at The Wharf Amphitheater on July 3-5. That means you've got three chances to catch this incredible Gulf Coast band under the stars.
